Who is Meri Murphy

Meri is a stay-at-home mom (SAHM) to her children (ages 6, 4 & 1). Meri, her husband, and their 3 children currently live in beautiful Northern Colorado.

In fall 2017, when Meri was pregnant with her 3rd baby, she realized that she had become miserable and unhappy in whom she was as a woman, a mom, and a spouse. This realization sent her on a journey of self-discovery, passion, growth, and forgiveness, which ultimately helped her change what she believed was possible for her own life.

Eight months later, in June 2018, she became a published children’s book co-author. Then in September 2018, she launched her blog, MomPurpose. She created her blog to be a platform for women and moms (new, seasoned or soon-to-be), to help change what they know is possible in their own lives by designing their own motherhood experience.

Meri believes in the adage, that in order to live our best mom lives, we must begin by taking care of ourselves (body, mind, and spirit), and as a result, we are able to take care of others more effectively.

In addition, Meri has been implementing systems and routines into her life over the past 2 years, and these systems have led to big changes that have helped her to; manage her time and home more effectively on a daily basis, to get and stay in shape after having babies, to become a more accountable – aware – loving parent & spouse, and finally to pursue her passions.

Something Needed to Change

After becoming pregnant with her third child, Meri started to reflect on what kind of mom she was becoming. The truth is she didn’t like that person and she knew she needed to do something about it.

She started researching more about the topic which developed into writing and later on evolved into finding a passion to share her struggles through her blog Mom Purpose.

According to the blogger, it’s been all about internal shifts. From daily affirmations to visualization work.

She has used several tools that have helped her get back on track and show up as a better mom, wife, and person.
